Appointments and Office Hours

Office hours are by appointment only. Regular office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. We have extended evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8:00pm.  We try to reserve these hours for families whose work commitments make it difficult to come to the office during regular daytime hours.

If necessary, ill patients will be seen on Saturday and Sunday by arrangement. When calling for an appointment, please furnish our receptionist with the reason for your visit. This will allow us to give priority to your needs and reserve sufficient time for your visit.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, or will be late, please call our office as soon as possible. This will allow us to care for another patient needing to be seen.

Telephone Calls

When calling us about your child, it would be helpful if you have the following information before you place the call:

  1. Age of child
  2. Length of symptoms
  3. Is fever present? If so, highest and current reading.
  4. Is there any change in his/her level of activity (i.e. lethary) or feeding?
  5. Are there any signs of a local problem (i.e. tugging at ears, trouble with urine or bowls, rash, etc.)?
  6. Has your child received any medications including acetaminophen or asprin in the past 24 hours?
  7. Are there any pre-existing chronic problems (i.e. asthma, seizures, etc.)?

For your convenience we have a "Telephone Hour" Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 9:00 am and Saturday 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Please feel free to call us with your questions at this time. If questions arise that cannot wait until the following morning, you may call our office during office hours. We will return your call as soon as we can, without inconveniencing patients in the office.

No Smoking

There is no smoking in our office. Exposure to tobacco smoke is detrimental to your health and your child's health, so we do not allow smoking or provide ashtrays.
